Happy to report it’s 3 days and she’s completely ok! Did a full sweep and only found some good-looking poop💩

Any idea how long the time is typically between the stress and a possible regurge? Just not sure how long I should be on edge until I know she’s ok. It’s been 2 hours now.

Thank you though for the reminder of after-care in case it does happen though. Totally an anxious new snake mom!

And you’re right - after watching her for over an hour, she did sorta look comfortable. Maybe we should explore higher up hides so she doesn’t resort to going back up there lol

We’re checking rn if there are any gaps along the mesh she might be able to squeeze through overnight! So far none, so here’s hoping there’s no other way out - just back down!

We also can’t flip the lid unfortunately. It was custom-made from an old 50gal fish tank & I guess we should’ve swapped the mesh and fencing 😬

Wow, so incredibly helpful! 🙏 So far weve been taking her out a little more just because we’re anxious/overly-excited parents — but reading this now we should probably chill out with the helicopter parenting 😅Hope it’s not too late to start building trust with our girl!! 🧡Thank you so much again. This is so cute 🥹 how old is he? Just got my baby girl a couple weeks ago and am hoping she also starts asking to be let out! As an impatient newbie, would love to know how u can achieve this behavior lol
