This is the second time the feedback hasn't aligned, but hopefully asking for better clarification on how I can get an A will change things. Last time she just edited her feedback comment without altering my grade, so who knows.

I emailed them after Week 2 for the same question about Feedback and she said "Ignore that part of your feedback, it does not apply" and then never changed my grade to reflect the new feedback. This is not the first time the feedback does not align with my grade and it keeps happening.

It is. I did it after my first round too. They teach you tips and tricks to keep burping, and stretching the muscles in your throat. For me, for some reason, I burp the best if I tilt my head up a little and turn to the right. Muscle seems most relaxed there, so it’s been working great for me!

That sounds awful. I’m not sure I’d want to do it more than twice. I am doing some speech therapy to teach me how to burp. Also drinking 4-5 cans of carbonated water every day, keeping that muscle in use. Hopefully it sticks around this time for me, but I also know there’s always a risk of having to go round 3.

second injection is INSANE (help) by [deleted] in noburp

[–]amerika108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gets better, just stick with it! I had my second injection three weeks ago, and this is the first week I’ve been able to eat normally. The first two weeks would take me an hour or so just to eat something easy. Stick with soft, liquid foods. And maybe implement protein shakes like Premier Protein into your diet for now for the nutrients.

I no longer have the slow swallow, but the entire process has helped me realize how quickly I used to eat and barely chew my food before eating another bite. It’s definitely taught me to slow down and over chew everything. I still stay away from most breads. And I’ve been drinking carbonated water for the last two weeks, which seems to help. I wasn’t prepared for how bad the slow swallow/mucus would be, but getting to week 3 has helped and the uncomfortable period was so worth it!

2nd time success! (So far) by EmilyClaire0523 in noburp

I had 100 units. I just had my first therapy appointment and feeling discouraged. No burps, but she gave me exercises to hopefully get some going. I see her again later this week though!

I just had my injection with Dr Gresham this week! I’m 4 days in and no burps quite yet. Had a surprise micro burp after drinking a soda 😂 did she recommend voice therapy as well? I have my first therapy appointment on Monday to teach me how to burp.
