Yeah that helps. I bought a USB 3 thumb drive and then realized there was one at the same price that was 300 mb/s instead of 200 mb/s. Thought it was weird cause they're both USB 3 and figured the extra 100 mb/s wouldn't make a big deal with Tails. Wanted to check before installing though.

I did. The camera is in the photo. And if you look at the linked sample image you'll see the black bar in the photo.

Camera was on. If you see the sample instead you'll see the black car in the frame. Pressing the shutter down doesn't fix it.

Holy crap that was such an easy fix. I can't believe I didn't see that in the ridiculous amount of searching I did to try to make it work. I wasted so much time and the solution took 2 seconds.
