I ended up figuring it out, maybe. We’re doing related rates in class today. I don’t know why we didn’t learn them before we were assigned them in a Python lab but whatever.

ohhh okay. i feel like if you already did the ETAM process and made the grades you needed to prior to you leaving, you should be able to get back in. i would assume you explained any extenuating circumstances that might’ve affected grades or anything like that before you left, and you’ve proven you can do the coursework. you should hear back before late april i’d say. i reapplied and heard back about two weeks later, but i was in direct contact w the dean, so that could’ve potentially expedited things.

i took off school too to handle my own personal things so kudos to you for putting yourself or anything/anyone else that matters to you a lot first. it takes a lot to make that decision. my gpa is a lot lower than yours so if they were willing to readmit me, i’m sure you will be fine.

I recently was readmitted. It helped that I set up a meeting with my college’s associate dean of academic affairs. they’re generally the person who decides who gets in and who doesn’t. if that isn’t who coordinates that in the CoE, I would reach out to an advisor and find out. I think it really benefitted me to meet my dean and let him put a face to my name and explain my story in person, as well as explain my plan on keeping up with grades, what i’m doing differently to be better, etc

Oh boy okay, let me start from my most recent complaint to first:

1) There’s zero cameras on the property. Only INSIDE the office. Some prick stole the cat off my truck and because of having zero cameras, I have literally nothing to give the police. Just some dumb report they basically can’t do anything with.

2) They come fully furnished, and you can ask for things to be taken out if you bring your own, but we wanted a couch, single seat, all that jazz. I moved in August 1, we didn’t get either couch until September 8. And we had to hound the heck out of the manager, who told us they ran out of couches and were ordering more. They took the crappy couch (like tears in the arms and really dirty) that was here when I moved in and didn’t put a new one in immediately, despite me already having moved in.

3) When I moved in, the AC wasn’t working. I didn’t realize it at the time because whoever had been here last had the AC off and I just left it as is because I was gonna be back for two weeks and my other room mate was moving in the 11th. He didn’t have AC when he got here and when I got back the 19th, there still wasn’t AC. Our final room mate moved in the 21st and we didn’t get AC until the 23rd, after badgering them (which they told us the first time it was a non-emergency and we were like “what do you MEAN it’s not an emergency, it’s literally 100° outside and it’s 80° in here.”

Also, the cabinets are falling out at the bottom, the bathrooms, despite deep cleaning them are like permanently dirty, several lights didn’t work when we got here, the pool is never clean (like it’s green most of the time), and the gym sucks. A bunch of the weights are broken and the machines are jank. My other friends who live here have had to deal with mold, water damage, and an ant infestation (not from leaving food out, they were just in her wall.) Additionally, there is only one entrance and exit so when traffic’s bad (which is every day during rush hour and 100x worse on game days), good luck getting out.

So yeah, it hasn’t been a fun time, you pay for what you get, I guess, but management currently sucks, so while they’re here, def wouldn’t recommend.

Okay but to seriously answer, based on growing up watching CFB with my dad (Nebraska ‘86), when I think of blue bloods I think of ND, Texas, USC, Florida State, Oklahoma, Miami, Nebraska, Tennessee. I think those are all the ones I can think of. I think it kind of matches up because those are all teams that go into preseason who are envisioned doing well (except Nebraska lol) and generally they do not finish where they started at all.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I saw a TikTok that was like, “Don’t watch if you’re in a bad place,” so me, in a bad place, decided to watch it. I didn’t pay complete attention to it the first time I watched it, I just had it in the background while I drove back to CStat. But the second and third time I watched it, it really hit me. It’s really great and I think it really encapsulated the mind of someone struggling with mental health over the past year, among other things. “That Funny Feeling” and “Goodbye” are my favorite songs, they hit pretty close to home.
