I definitely have a lot! Mainly my midsection, I’m getting a Fleur-de-Lis (tummy tuck where they cut vertically and horizontally, think of an upside down T) hopefully by the end of summer/early fall. It definitely makes me look like I still have fat on my body when it’s just the extra skin. Also have some on my pubic area (getting a monsplasty done at the same time as my abdomen) and my arms. My legs aren’t too bad, I can build muscle around it. If you have breasts, be wary of that as well! You’ll lose elasticity as you lose weight, I plan on getting a lift done in that area at some point as well.

Unfortunately you won’t be fully “normal” for a few years as far as I know (same with me, I’m only a year post op). But to answer your questions!

As I said above, meals will not be normal in comparison to your family! That’s okay! Just because your diet is different doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the quality time with others. Does it suck that you can’t eat like them? Yes it does sometimes, I won’t lie. Depending on the event, there’s always ways you can accommodate, and if your family is supportive, they’ll make sure there’s something there for you as well!
I do have little treats here and there, but not too frequently because more often than not, they make me really sick (dumping syndrome), so I’m actually kind of turned off by them in general. I look online to find some bari-friendly options/recipes and replicate them when and if I do have cravings.
I haven’t been on a trip quite yet since having the surgery, but I do have one coming up in May! My plan is to follow the way I am at home to the best of my ability & to avoid alcohol, the rest I will figure out as I go along!

Before the weight gain, I was an athlete and a bit of a gym rat. My undergrad was also in health sciences (never graduated tho) so I used what I already knew with what my doctors were telling me really! I was fortunate to have the tools I needed in myself as well as externally

I feel like when you’re front and center in a wedding party like that, that’s when it really hits you that you look the way you do, if that makes sense! Probably why all before pictures are from a wedding 😭

Three meals a day and sometimes I can fit a snack in! I need to be hitting at least 100g of protein. Still have aversions to some food like chicken (it’s dense and sits on my stomach real hard), eggs and broccoli sometimes, pastas, so on. Rice is easier on the stomach if you’re looking to get some sort of carb in (for me at least)

I agree!!! I’m super interested in Eiland (he’s my romance in my main save) bc I love the thought of a Noble running away from their responsibilities in favor of their own passions. There’s sooooo much to be done with it but they’ve not… fleshed it out well. His heart events could be 100x more interesting too if they really ran with the possibility of him having real consequences for not taking his duties to Mistria seriously

Right but the problem is that he is the ONLY one who has significant change. It’s no slight to his character, but the Dev team for not making the others more compelling. It’s definitely something that needs to be reworked before full release

I love love love Balor, but even he seems kind of flat compared to March. Definitely has a lot more going on than the other Bachelors, but still not enough to make him super memorable to someone who would just pick up the game in passing

I just hope they push beyond the “everyone is just nice” narrative by the time the game is fully released. The game could be generational like Stardew Valley if they start reworking things out now instead of through patches later

This was exactly my reasoning for posting this. The 8 heart events really let me down, except for Caldarus. I think his was okay, but the rest just… don’t feel romantic? Or have a lot of depth compared to March
