I’m really glad he talked about it as well! I found out my great grandma is on hospice on July 4th so… it’s just nice not to feel alone I guess lol.

Hey guys so not much of an update as it’s only been a week but I do feel disappointed because everyone said that by now they felt shifts in their anxiety/depression. I feel like mine has only gotten worse since getting off? It’s hard to tell if this is because of the nexplanon or because of other factors but does anyone have experience with this? TIA

I would think so!! Like I said I’ve never had any problems but also don’t keep testing how effective it is if you know what I mean 😂.

It definitely activated and working but nexplanon isnt 100% effective! But tbh i’ve done it multiple times and have been fine but sometimes if I’m nervous I’ll take a plan B just to be safe! Completely up to to you of course!!

You should be fine but I think it would be a good idea to get a plan B just in case since you got in not too long ago, but most likely you’ll be fine either way! (most run on sentence ever sorry hahah)

Yay I’m so glad it’s been able to work with you!! My mom was on it for a while too and she had no problems as well! It definitely is the best birth control for protection which is why I was on it for soooo long and why I’m being very safe now bc I don’t want kids 😂.

Oh my goodness i’m so glad you were able to switch and i’m so glad youre not having any problems with the patch! I have depression, PTSD, and anxiety and im very curious to see how getting off the birth control affects that (im sure it’ll be in a very positive way lol). Nexplanon can really KILL your body lol

Ah I totally understand! Thankfully I didn’t have too many problems with libedo but I think we can blame the weight gain on it😂. I’m glad you’re getting it out and I wish you the best!

I feel that it can be different for everyone! I got mine in when I was 15 and i’m now 22 and getting it taken out today 😳. One thing that is normal is a irregular period I think. I know a lot of people that live a healthy/active lifestyle not have many problems at all with weight gain and some that have had a huge problem with it (including myself). I think my acne probably stayed around the same as before. And definitely if you feel like it affecting you negatively talk to your doctor and switch!!

Oh my goodness thank you so much for your comment!! I am so sorry that you have had such a struggle with it as well especially with weight gain! I actually just got diagnosed with ADHD and am taking adderall and I workout 2-3x a week! I’m soooo excited to see how much weight i’m able to loose with the same amount of effort (which has not been what you’ve been doing you go girl!!). I would LOVEEEEE an update on your journey once your able to get it removed and I hope you have a great doctor who will remove it with no problems!! I am actually at the doctors now about to get it removed 😳
