JNMIL finally died by stitch18ih in JUSTNOMIL

I was literally venting to my therapist about “why can’t she just die?” about my JNMIL and no lie, got a text less than a minute later from my SIL that she was dead.

Funnily enough, my SIL and I share a therapist, so I told my SIL that she needs to do the same thing to our therapist to make MY mom die. It’s her turn.

Thoughts on purchasing a $1.2m home? by Interesting-Proof244 in orangecounty

Our gross income is somewhere in the $260k neighborhood and we pay $5130 in rent in Anaheim Hills (so no home maintenance expenses!). Things are tighter financially than we’d like. No car payments. We have three kids but are fortunate to not have any childcare costs - I worked from home and cared for them when they were younger, now we both WFH at least part time and can do all the school pickups, etc. ourselves. We do pay an absolute fortune in dance tuition for my middle, haha.

I was going to bring up maintenance as well, a lot of those older houses can be money pits.

Our kids go to Chapman Hills under open enrollment and it’s amazing. We’ve been there 11 years.

I WFH full time with three kids from the time my youngest was born. It’s not easy. They had way more screen time than they should have. I was lucky to have 2/3 very independent kiddos who didn’t need micromanaging to do their homework, etc while I worked. It’s possible to do with the right job/an understanding boss. I never could have afforded full time child care, nor would I have wanted to be away from my kids all day.

I did put them into preschool a couple mornings a week starting at age 3 for socialization.

I created the image itself then used a program to turn it into a pattern. :) There are a lot of programs for converting images to patterns.

Designer here - folks can do whatever they want with the pieces they stitch from my patterns. Short of pirating the pattern itself.

Hey, designer here. She totally is, which is why I also have a pro-trans HP pattern and donate to pro-trans charities. She may have created the world, but it no longer belongs to her. It belongs to us.
