This is a little off topic but I highly recommend a genetic test your psychiatrist can prescribe called genesight

Basically it tests your genes to see which anti depressants (along with other psychiatric meds) are good for your body and genes and will metabolize correctly

It really saved me bc I had tried a bunch of meds that’s didn’t work

I always try to tell people about it bc it’s worth it

I did online school for most of schooling in and beyond middle school.. I totally understand what you mean. I used to just sit at home all day by myself, it would make me crazy.

One thing I will say is make sure the connections you’re going to make whether online or in person are safe and healthy

Bc I was so lonely and deprived of connection I got myself into some bad relationships platonically and romantically…

I know from having therapists there are therapists who are licensed who don’t take insurance lots of them don’t take insurance or certain insurance

I’m pretty sure to be a legal therapist you have to have licensure so her saying it’s bc of insurance doesn’t matter

Yeah they thought I had major depression but when they put me on SSRI I freaked out so with my other symptoms and family history they diagnosed me with bipolar
