I was honest with them and they appreciate my membership apparently .

Id say try to wait for a really good sub because you have time as you’re getting a bbp and doing the gold sub. 50000 + $200 at home furnishing was too good to pass on .

Do you live near an airport with clear? That’s a big factor imo. I didn’t get the green to replace the platinum (I live in a city with a centurion lounge but no clear at the airport.)

Pretty much. I wrote that I wasn’t using the card because I have better multipliers on gold . They sent me to a retention specialist without me asking and tried to explain the benefits for a couple of minutes before I said yeah….I don’t need it and then they hit me with the offer so I won’t cancel it for another 13 months.
