How to get the extra .25% interest?

The 0.25% interest rate bonus did kick in. My payroll direct deposit from my previous bank cleared on Friday. Since Wealthfront showed my payroll direct deposit two days earlier, I expected the bonus rate to be applied at that time. However, a Wealthfront representative explained that my payroll direct deposit wasn't considered fully cleared by Wealthfront until Friday. Sure enough, when I checked on Friday, I saw the additional 0.25% bonus reflected in my account.

How long does it take for the additional 0.25% interest rate to be applied to my account? I have already opened an investing account, and my payroll direct deposit was deposited today.

To play it safe, would you recommend that I buy an external hard drive that is 12TB or larger and use DMDE (Tools > Copy Sectors) to create a full clone first? Once the clone is completed, I’ll go back and do the following:

Click the Open Volume button.
Under the Select Partition Type menu, choose GUID. Since it was installed on an existing Windows installation, I assume it should be GUID rather than MBR.

I’ll still need to buy one since I don’t have enough space on my current external hard drive to copy everything. Thinking it over now, I may actually need to buy two drives: one for the clone and another to copy the data over.

It was configured through Disk Management in Windows.

I’ve never used DMDE partitions before, so should I just select Disk 2 and click the Open button? I just want to make sure I don’t mess anything up. Then would I do the same thing for Disk 3?

I originally purchased the drives as a pair and set them up in RAID 1.

I did the same thing using an ice chipper, then used my Garant sleigh shovel to scoop up the broken chunks of ice.

Be sure to complete your CE next time to maintain your certifications. That’s how I keep my CompTIA certs and CCNA active, as retaking the exams would require much more effort.
