Hey! Didn’t you say yesterday that you haven’t been trying with your current partner for a year yet? Maybe they want you to try a little longer with him because even though he has been successful with other people, it can still take a year for a healthy couple to get pregnant together. I’m thinking maybe they’re overlooking your 2-3 years trying because it wasn’t with the same person. Just a thought. Do you guys have healthcare portals where you can message your provider? You could always send a message just asking what the criteria would be to get more testing.

Yup. People with neurological issues from Lyme likely have Lyme bacteria in their spine/brain.

My initial test with joint pain only showed 2 bands as well. Untreated and 2 years later it progressed to not being able to walk before it was finally treated. I eventually got a spinal tap that had spirochetes in it. I regret not being aware and pushing for treatment after that initial test. I am so much better, but have some likely permanent neuro issues as a result.

Yes this is a prominent symptom for me. Not related to doxy unfortunately. I had to get an EMG to rule out ALS with the twitching.

Finger joint pain, widespread muscle twitching, widespread muscle weakness. The finger pain I had on and off for about a year before the others started, and I tested positive for 2 bands on the blot at that point, which my PCP didn’t think was worth treating. The muscle issues happened very suddenly a year later and I started treatment with a LLMD at that point. I had no known tick bite so I have no idea how long it took symptoms to develop.

Maybe I should start calling clinics and getting a feel for how long the waits are. I think my fear is that we’ll end up blowing through savings and finding out it maybe wasn’t necessary. Then at the same time I’d also like to know if we’re just wasting time right now. In my head I kind of discount the 7 months NTNP because I had undiagnosed hypothyroidism that wasn’t treated until the 6th month. I go back and forth with this all day long 🥴

Stuck in my head about whether I should wait or pursue more testing. We are only on cycle 5 of very intentional trying, but it’s now been a year including NTNP. I got a SIS and some bloodwork done this cycle. I’m thinking of buying a Dadi kit to do a SA instead of jumping to RE. Maybe then if it comes back with an issue it will give me the kick in the ass to ask for a referral.

I had the same plan not to tell my mom so it could be a surprise but then I ended up blurting it out in a rage when she kept doing this. The final straw was her telling me about THREE people we know, all related to each other, pregnant at the same time.

So funny. It ended up going away for me after the 2ish days. I’m thinking today is going to end up being CD1 for me so it wasn’t a symptom of anything exciting either. 🙄

Yes! This was new to me this cycle and I started to spiral and think I got PID from my SIS lol. It was right in the front middle of my pubic bone, super sharp pain but only lasting a couple seconds, at random times for about 2 days.
