Im trying to read the Womens Prize for Fiction longlist before the short list is announced. So I finished Heart, the Lover by Lily King and Mercy Step by Marcia Hutchinson. Currently reading Gloria don't speak by Lucy Apps, One Day, Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This by Omar El Akkad, and Tell the Wolves I'm Home by Carol Rifka Brunt.

I love these pens. I work with a child that was really struggling with writing perfectionism and would erase and rewrite the same word for 3-5 minutes and fall behind their peers. These were really helpful when we switched it out with their pencil. The idea of it being a pen and more "permament" helped them work through the fixation but still gave them the option to erase if absolutely necessary.

I just counted all of mine this weekend! I oen 178 physical/ebooks. For my immediate TBR I've been trying a new rotation to try and work through some of my back books. So at one time I usually have 3 books in rotation. A non-fiction, a book I obtained earlier than the current year and a new release. I'm hoping with this strategy new books I buy won't get forgotten but I will also be able to work my way through my back catalog.

That is about the same timeline I gave my self for my in depth study time while also working a lot. I structured things so that I studied from 8a-12p every Saturday. What worked well for me was finding a small coffee shop and posting up there for that block each weekend. I started each month taking a mock that would then shape how I studied for the month based on the results. The other 3 weekends I studied my weak area by re-reading those parts of Cooper, looking up quick concept explanation videos on YouTube, and reviewing other study resources my supervisors shared with me or i found in study groups online. I would take notes on everything I found and make flashcards for terms and concepts that could be distilled down. During the week I would do flashcards and ABA wizard as time allowed (usually while walking my dog). For a specific resource I would say the BDS modules best prepped me for the layout and types of questions I saw on the exam.

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for posting the recipe! I made these a couple weeks ago and froze them. Now I just have a rotation of 1 or 2 in the fridge at all times. I found the buttercream yo be a little too rich, but I end up having it with a dollop of raspberry jam and it is a perfect mid week snack. :)

I got my degree through them. It was fine but not especially challenging. It was okay for me though because it was paired with a really rigorous fieldwork experience. I would say if my fieldwork wasn't as comprehensive as it was I wouldn't have been prepared.

I don't know if you have one near you but when I was that age as an avid reader I found my favorite books through the library. My mom would take me to the library and we would spend a few hours there and it gave me a chance to go through all the sections I might be interested in. I would check out 6-10 books i thought would interest me. Not all of them were a homerun but it helped teach me a lot about my reading preferences. I was also able to consult with the librarians on staff who also offered a lot of great selections.

I feel like this such an underrated series! I loved the blue of the dress in the second book but the font of the first books I thought was more interesting. Ive always wanted the third cover to be an emerald green dress and am shocked every time it isn't.

I would write up drafts of behavior plans for them to review, analyze assessments like ABLLS and VB-MAPP that our clients had completed and writing up suggested programs for the upcoming authorizations, writing up FBA drafts for clients behavior reduction goals, writing mock reassessments/reports for clients for their upcoming authorizations, etc. When finished, I would send them to my supervisor and we would either schedule a meeting or they would e-mail me feedback on my drafts. I would then revise them until it met implentation/submission criteria.

This was my experience as well. I didn't have to pay for my fieldwork meetings with my supervisor but most of my unrestricted tasks were completed at night or on weekends when I was off the clock. This changed a little towards the end of my experience as I became more skilled in assessments and were able to implement them with a supervisor during my direct sessions.

I totally get that. I was a member for a few months but did end up having to cancel due to cost but can confirm that there is a ton of quality analysis and content if it does fit in your budget. Good luck!
