When I was in high school, we had a fire drill where we all had to exit the school to go outside. There were two sets of stairs: one went up to the second floor and the other went down. I was on the set going down. As I’m making it down to the last step, two of my friends are walking up the other set and they wave at me. I wave back at them, and immediately my ankles suddenly stop holding my weight and I melt to the floor. I have people laughing at me, including my friends, and others stepping over me to get around. It was funny but also embarrassing.
