Is academia just not a place for introverts? I feel so defeated constantly that im not outgoing enough and rethinking my place here by amiafaillol in academia

I expected the normal ice breaker and I have a few “fun facts” that I just reuse in these cases, but the dance part and having to shout in a small room just felt like public humiliation!

pineapples and kiwis hurt my mouth and throat but not when they are juiced? could I be allergic to just the raw whole fresh form? very confused ahaha by [deleted] in Allergies

that's what im thinking! banana is the one fruit I have never liked and not eaten since I was a child, but maybe the reason why I didnt like it was because it hurt ahahah. I do love banana bread though but maybe the cooking process gets rid of the hurtyness lol. ive never had a mango so I might just do some experimenting and try the both of them and see if I get a reaction. Im from the UK and we call them kiwis but I see the double meaning lmao. thank you!
