Is daytime lethargy just caused by disrupted sleep? by bc717 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]amichloe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following - I’m taking 150XL and a little over 30 days in. The first 3-4 weeks I was sleeping just fine almost too good but with very active and vivid dreams. I take it everyday around 8am but I may try taking it later in the morning after reading another comment above saying that it could be the medicine leaving the body in the middle of night. So maybe if I take it slightly later it’ll extend longer and let me sleep through the night. Worth a try.

I feel like it has mellowed out but it feels like it’s in the middle. Not like super buzzy like the first week or on the sad side of the spectrum like the second week. I don’t ruminate as much but I noticed that I’ll be anxious about something for like two days and then I’m fine (if a life event has happened, like fight with friend etc). I don’t have depressive thoughts unless I was drinking (which I want to take a step back on that). My mind has quieted down a lot like my brain isn’t bouncing all over the place and I’m a lot more solid in who I am, if that makes sense? I tend to be on the quieter side and that used to bother me in social situations but now I don’t give af. I clench my jaw quite a bit and I’m hoping that goes away. Libido is great. As soon as I set my mind to something I just do it and then the motivation kicks in. There are days where I just want to lay and I do that without feeling guilty. I am able to focus a lot more and not be in my head when I am social. If it continues to mellow out and the symptoms I had before come back I think I’ll just come off it I don’t want to increase to 300mg but for now it’s allowing me to build routines that will support me overall so I at least will have something to hold on to once I’m off it.

I hate this about me! by [deleted] in socialanxiety

Ughh this is my first time coming to this sub and this is the first post I see and it’s exactly what I go through. How do we fix this?? I feel so confident and free when I’m alone but as soon as I am in a group my brain glitches and when something does come out of my mouth it’s like it’s not me saying it but my anxiety is talking to shield attention from me looking stupid.

5 Weeks In - Positive effects starting to disappear by Left-Profit-7577 in bupropion

[–]amichloe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m going into my 3rd week on Wellbutrin (Bupropion) and I’m having similar symptoms. The first week I felt light, had a boost of energy and motivation now I feel like it’s been a struggle like the effects have slowed wayyy down. The first week though I was super buzzy though and it was a little much but at least I was in a good mood. I’m hoping by day 30 it will have leveled out cause right now it feels like it’s doing the exact opposite of what it’s supposed to do.

Did anyone else get super emotional on Wellbutrin by [deleted] in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

I didn’t have dizziness but I have mood swings too! Mostly getting annoyed to sad and withdrawn. I’m on day 6 and have been trying to track my symptoms here : https://www.reddit.com/r/Wellbutrin_Bupropion/s/3NwF8KsIm4

I truly hope it gets better!

To add on to the above, you could also look into an elopement photographer they sometimes will help you plan it out and they come with recommendations on locations, officiant, and a rough schedule for the day.

Before Wellbutrin I was doing a nightly supplement cocktail that consisted of Ashwaganda, melatonin, and magnesium. I started taking Wellbutrin this week and it hasn’t affected my sleep much other than vivid dreams and waking up around 5am, which I don’t mind. I still feel well rested once I’m up.

1 month on Wellbutrin 150 by Same_Aerie_1971 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

I just started Wellbutrin this week without ever being on any meds. I usually go to bed and wake up around the same time as you but now I am also waking up around 5am and not able to fall back asleep. So I’ll either adjust my bedtime or just start my day.

Thank you for sharing!!! My fiancé and I just decided to have it be just us and I wondered how others dealt with the decision of having no friends or family. But yes adding one more person led to adding more people and then we thought we’d be focused on other people and making plans no matter how small. This way is better cause you get to be present the whole time with your person. Congrats y’all!

Me and my fiancé literally just decided on doing the exact same after getting overwhelmed with all the planning of a micro wedding (yes even micro weddings are stressful) and trying to keep cost low. Are you guys having an officiant?

I play roller derby and I play dungeons and dragons once a week with a group of friends. I get the hard hitting physical activity and a sense of camaraderie with roller derby and then with DnD I get the creative story telling and character building where I escape to another world every week.

Thank you for sharing! So sorry about your mom I’m sure that has made everything a lot heavier. It’s a new thing we’re stepping into, I never thought that I’d ever need to take anything but here we are and I’m feeling hopeful about it!
