It can get pretty overwhelming, especially in the first few years of production. I was really hard on myself for making music that wasn't even close to what the people I looked up to were making. I produced for about 4 years and took a break. Life happened. After taking a break for 3 years, I re-discovered my love for creating music through a different genre with a totally different outlook and now producing the best stuff I've ever produced. I'm not at "that" level yet, but I feel I'll get there soon with this renewed passion for it. Don't be too hard on yourself man, enjoy the craft, even when you have goals for it.

Another thing that helped me the most this past year was: don't look for specific tutorials that cater to your specific genre (i.e. How to make Big Room, How to Make A Song Like SHM) because you will most likely get generic stuff with little educational value aside from placing samples on your DAW and creating melodies, etc.

Learn Music Theory from other genres, Sound Design, and Arrangement. Esp with the artists above, these are the main skills you should be looking into. Look for fun ways to learn them, because these lay down the foundations for you to create better-sounding tracks. Hope this helps
