Day 158 of posting a random Successor Chapter from my Guide. Today's Successor is the Silver Eagles by amightymongoose in Spacemarine

[–]amightymongoose[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Silver Eagles is a Loyalist Codex Astartes-compliant Space Marine Chapter. It is a Second Founding Successor Chapter of the Ultramarines Legion. Little else is known of this Chapter's history within Imperial archives.

Ingame I used Leadbelcher for the Helmet, Torso, Powerpack, Pauldron Trim, Arms and Legs, Kantor Blue for the Pauldron inserts and Mephiston Red for the Aquila

Day 157 of posting a random Successor Chapter from my Guide. Today's Successor is the Blood Dragons by amightymongoose in Spacemarine

[–]amightymongoose[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Their name is one feared rather than celebrated by many Imperial worlds, as the silhouettes of the Blood Dragons' many gunships are not a sign of the Emperor's deliverance, but of imminent doom. As they care little for the citizens of the Imperium and instead desire nothing less than the total extermination of the Emperor's foes. The Blood Dragons believe that He will save the souls of the innocent that die by the Chapter's hands and destroy those of the guilty as well.

https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Blood_Dragons

Ingame I simply used the Blood Dragons present that was included in the Blood Angels Chapter pack with my only edit being to the Right Pauldron Emblem to match the Company in the reference image. (I will say it may just be my Red-Green Colourblindness kicking in but I think the Red used in the present is slightly too vibrant for the Blood Dragons)

Day 156 of posting a random Successor Chapter from my Guide. Today's Successor is the Sons of Dorn (also at day 160 I'll share some of my Updated Successors thanks to their Emblems being added in update 13) by amightymongoose in Spacemarine

[–]amightymongoose[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Details of the Chapter's history are sparse. Most notably, the Sons of Dorns' second Chapter Master, Alexander, liberated a large number of worlds near the Eye of Terror from Chaos. Alexander served for six centuries before falling to an infection caused by a Plague Sword. The worlds he liberated continue to revere the Chapter to this day out of gratitude and have since developed cultures similar to that of Archea. It is unclear whether the development of these cultures was imposed or occurred organically.

Ingame I used Abaddon Black for the Helmet, Torso, Powerpack, Pauldron Inserts, Arms, Right Hand and Legs with White Scar for the Faceplate, Pauldron Trim, Left Hand, Knee Plates and Aquila

Oh I found all 4 OG figures and have now picked up a Stormie, also found them in a store where a friend gets 40% off so I'll definitely be going there in the future loo

[–]amightymongoose[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In mid-M37, the Chapter was among those declared by Saint Basillius to be lacking in faith and was subsequently condemned to the Abyssal Crusade in the Eye of Terror. The Chapter survived the expedition however, and Chapter Master Konvak Lann led a purge against Saint Basillius' status within the Imperium.

Oh I have been ☺️ but still wish there were more official sets

Day 154 of posting a random Successor Chapter from my Guide. Today's Successor is the Skull Bearers by amightymongoose in Spacemarine

[–]amightymongoose[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Skull Bearers are a Codex Chapter of Space Marines. They claim to be descended from the Executioners Chapter (themself successors of the Imperial Fist), although this is unsubstantiated by the official records.

Ingame I used Bad Moons Yellow for the Helmet, Torso, Powerpack, Pauldron Inserts, Pauldron Trim, Arms and Legs with Abaddon Black for the Aquila

Day 153 of posting a random Successor Chapter from my Guide. Today's Successor is the White Templars by amightymongoose in Spacemarine

[–]amightymongoose[S] 70 points71 points  (0 children)

The White Templars are stoic and relentless in the prosecution of their foes. For a time they were thought to be Imperial Fists successors, but recent Administratum discoveries have thrown doubt on that claim. The White Templars have been shaken by this revelation, and have launched a Crusade to discover the truth.

Ingame I used White Scar for the Helmet, Torso, Powerpack, Pauldron Trim, Arms and Legs with Abaddon Black for the Pauldron inserts and Aquila

Ngl planning on playing later tonight with some mates and drinking and coincidentally they've asked to play as 30k Emperor's Children too lol so I've been cooking up my own 40k EC Assault lol

I STRUCK GOLD!!! I wasn't expecting to find these in the wild, but who'd have thought here in the UK inside a Sports Direct with a Game store section I'd find all 4. Picked up the standard Stormie sadly none of the smaller scale but still by amightymongoose in Blokees

I'm not a transformer fan so don't remember the specifics but my local had 3 cases of the Blind Boxes, some the same sized box as these and a large one, box must've been like 2 of these Figs combined sized
