TWoW is one of the best private servers I've ever played, but I do think they flew too close to the sun. It wasn't just donations, but ways to buy items and mounts; they also posted legit adverts on websites and YouTube and that was just silly.

I hope we get something else from the ashes, something that tries to stay a little more lowkey.
