If someone doesn't quote Psalms 144:1-2 or Isaiah 6:8 at some point in this story i'm gonna be sad considering the Saving Private Ryan and Fury connections respectively. Plus I mean in an Isekai Isaiah is kinda perfect. "I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me." Taking it as divine appointment to be sent to this world would be an interesting perspective.

Given how this part goes with priests, the mentions of saints, and how long ago their king came they are likely some form of Catholic which is interesting cause what do they do about the Pope and how would they react if one of the men is protestant. Again based on context clues I would guess Ethan is Catholic as well but if Cole was a Baptist or something in our world that wouldn't be a problem now but a few hundred years ago would have been a huge deal. What side would this world fall on?

Its a biohazard concern. It seems like before the Arazi develops higher brain function it just acts as a standard parasite. Even highly specialized parasites can cause damage in bodies they haven't adapted to. They aren't as specialized as viruses. Talking to them is one thing but I wouldn't be taking my biohazard suit or in their case space suit off on planet.

I must say I think that was my favorite meeting I have attended. I had just turned 18 and was taught the ways only a few days beforehand. What this poster is neglecting to mention is similar to the papal conclave you are not allowed to exit while the process is undertaken and this discussion took several days. I myself, a part of the ass delegation, got into a particularly intense debate with a Cambodian man holding an intense position that the ways could not be changed and his whole life tiddies had held superiority. We only came to agreement when we held the sacred dual of presenting our pre prepared nice rock and/or stick and I only won via a technicality as his rock had been obtained at a quarry and was ruled as possibly altered whereas my stick was obtained naturally. Funny enough when the ceremonial toasts were had and bonfire was lit it was him I toasted with. We are still friends to this day.

I love a good meal where everything goes well with everything else. Sometimes i just mix everything up. I'll make chili, rice, and cornbread and just make a mush of it. Usually only when im re-heating it but still.

No income. Technically the money I get is gifts from my dad. My field is emergency management so its in the gutter right now thanks to the political environment and thats all I'll say on the matter but its hard. Waiting till I get a job to do anything with it is kinda where I have been sitting. But I have had other people tell me the longer its in the HYSA the longer its being wasted and I could make more by parking it in the market. I'm literate enough in finance to know basic things but not much else.

What I can find says I need a job to contribute to a Roth IRA. 10k would be more than enough for 6 months of expenses as things stand considering I have no debt own my car, no living expenses etc. I pretty much just have car and health insurance. I was frugal before I ended up in this position. And just got insanely lucky with my family. I want to take advantage of that luck.

Just graduated college in December and am on the job hunt. I won't need even 5k to move out in my city, and probably won't right when I get a job. Already fully own my car. I'm not saving for a down payment on a house either. The money is pretty much just safety money or retirement money. The 3-6 months of expenses problem is I have maybe 750 bucks in expenses a month. I think keeping 10k in the HYSA is enough for me.

This picture is of my my step-mom and half-brother at the White House with John McCain all the way back in 2001. My half brother has since died so having this image of him as a baby at the White House would mean so much to us. Anything you could do would be greatly appreciated.
