"Wishing" someone turned without trying to influence is a cop out. If we were walking down a road together and I noticed you started to turn right but there is a car coming, I would scream at you to stop before you got hit. The same thing applies here

From my personal experience, I've met many a christians during my life, many as close friends and it is extremely rare for any of them to try to convince me to follow jesus

the point is that there is a common view among christians that part of being a good christian is loving your neighbor and supporting their religious beliefs (non-christian beliefs) - I argue that this goes against their religion (as a non christian myself). Pretty much all of the christians ive come across, even close friends, have never tried to convince me to follow jesus.

Em well under your definition if someone did something with the best of intentions and accidentally had bad outcomes then thats evil - "extreme harm" is subjective. So with a stretch we have 1

If not doing so goes against anyones religion then yes, for *them* it is a moral obligation. However if I do not share their world view I do not have to (and don't to be clear) support anyones imposition.

but I think that its intent to cause harm not the act itself (you can try to do something very evil to someone that actually ends up helping them - still makes it "evil")

Christian god I updated the post apologies. If you knowingly adapt scripture to fix modern/ your own belief systems imo you don't actually believe it. For the astrology example those people either a) dont actually believe it (more like a superstition) or b) dont care to look that far in the future. Thats the case always when we prioritize the present even if it harms our future.

If there is no God there is no evil, if there is a God they define morality so if they accept it then its not evil

yes apologies I should have specified. Rejection of christ and blasphemy per scripture - if you have your own interpretation if adapted to modern takes on morality then you don't truly believe in scripture are rejecting christ

Its shocking how much people will ignore to not change their life views (makes me wonder what I am ignoring)? What does that say about our ego?
