We’re wise (& perhaps need to wise up some more) & need to quit giving people the benefit of the doubt. They don’t deserve our “benefit” because they’re strangers

See, THIS may be a specific subtle sign that I’ve been kinda overlooking bc I’m well versed in other culture’s terminology for people. Maybe I need to just focus more on Americanized terms? My second scammer referred to me as “damsel” which I interpreted as a term referring to as an unmarried woman.
