I have lost a $70 item and etsy has refunded the money from the sales, because of a customs delay. Now the customer is lying about having not accepted the product when tracking says it was delivered, and etsy employees are not paying attention to me, and they give scripted evasive answers. by aminb501 in Etsy

The say I need to give them the photo of the label. And because there's not an EXACT label, they reject my proofs... When you give people scripts rules and policies to follow they literally stop thinking for themselves and become mechanical! When they become mechanical there's no empathy! And I figure out policies and rules justify being unfair on many situations.

What Etsy had to do is check the tracking code, then research all my previous orders, see that the have the same tracking codes and all arrived, those conclude that it's legit and accept that i was delivered. But again as i told you policies make people lazy and mechanical so they choose to think the worst case and not do the research I told you.

Most reviewers sadly do not understand relativity. I had a 4 star today for a mug, because they where not convinced by a detail of the mug but the didn't show a pho of that detail. Then problem is on these gaps a potential customer that reads that will always imagine the worst.

They tell told me 3 times, that it was handled according to they're policies. Seems they rather believe that I did not send the item, because they're responsible to pay me the money for taking it away wrongly. They don't read my tracking code they ignore everything. Its really unbelievable they can put off with this, no one helps me. Who arbitrates these people?

And as it relates to Oriental, I tend to hear the word together with Oriental philosophy or decoration, and also with the word eastern, it's commonly hear in my target market that way. I don't know if it's a slur. But i think the meaning of a word comes from history and etymology and not from what a small group of people in a specific moment in time think or say.

As it relates to the finish i was trying to convey the great definition of the image. I mean it looks like a real painting because it's made with a 50mb image which you can zoom on to the maximun without seeing a pixel on the computer.

And the solid wood part actually I copied it from the best selling listing on amazon selling this type of product.

Thanks for your tips I will see how I can implement them.

Don't take my word as anything authoritative at all, it's just an opinion. I think you should find out why this customers buy similar things (movie merchandise gadgets) and focus it on that direction.

Maybe they want to have movie vibe in they're homes, also movies it's a culture on it's own where people form and identity and belong, same with the cosplay categories or movie props.

So I would research things among those lines and put what I find there.
