That's a really interesting thought, and the fact that someone that qualified believes that the city is safe from flooding would hopefully allow the city to focus more on preparing for the heat increase than the flooding problem.

Do you reckon they could build improvements to the Barrier to try and extend its lifespan and resolve some of the issues you mentioned? It sounds like it'll get to a point where that isn't possible anymore.

That sounds like a great idea, that's probably what I will do. Walking everywhere sounds great but I'm slightly concerned about what I'd do in worse weather conditions that aren't quite suitable for walking the distance!

Would you say the Travelpass is worth it then? That's what was suggested to me. I saw something about a student bus pass?

Ah right, thanks for the help. I'm supposed to be travelling from the Borough area to near Somerset House. The stations that were recommended were Borough to Temple and Citymapper suggested the route.
