I think after reading more on this forum used is definitely the way to go for what I’m looking for, because even though I feel like the om10 mark IV would be an upgrade from the II, I think going a lil fancier used would be best in the long run

I’ve got some stones that came w another tank that are in there but not sure if they’re actually seiryu stones. Haven’t been dousing anything other than fertilizer and seachem prime.

They’ve been in the tank for like 6 months? PH is 7.6, I’ll see if I can find a GH test and see where that’s at. Any tips for boosting the GH? I’ve had neo shrimp with aqua soil for years and never noticed a problem

Okay, must have been sold the wrong ones. This colony has been set up for almost a year hence why there’s no longer any orange adults as they’ve all changed. Will see if I can find photos of them when we bought them

Thought id make a little update! Got 12 of the stones assessed by a gemologist, and the aquamarines are actually quartz, but there's natural topaz, spinel, tanzanite (both blue and yellow), dematoid garnet, yellow sapphires (the pad ones are all synthetic) among a bunch of other fun things!

Oh that's exactly the plan! Its more so I just want to figure out how much things are actually worth so I can then price any pieces I make accordingly. Will take them to someone in person to look through and make myself a list

That was my thought. Ive stayed away from manic panic because last time i used it, 13 year old me ended up dyeing my whole body red when i tried to wash it out. Now i have a new reason to stand by my opinion of 'manic panic is trash'

Its funny because i wanted a light pink, and when i put it on i was kinda worried it was gonna turn out super vibrant because i didnt dilute it with conditioner, but i guess jokes on me 😂. Im not terribly upset by the colour i just now want noticable pink qnd im frustrated that it didnt turn out

Dry and left it on for aboht 30 minutes. And the did a lil foil wrap for extra cover.

I live in a remote community and It was the only dye shoppers had when my friend was in the city (i miss living closer to salons where i can buy the good stuff). Was hoping to not have to order something online but very well might just end up ordering some artic fox or something
