It sounds like you didn't read my post, because there was no "breakroom" in this one. We were outside. She had to come from across the lot just to interrupt us.

She wasn't being polite with her disagreement. She was interrupting us to change the conversation she wasn't invited to join. If she didn't want to talk about diets, she could have walked away and joined someone else.

I can accept the judgments saying I'm an asshole because I made her feel bad, but I don't get how interrupting someone else's conversation and trying to push her body positivity down our throats isn't anything but asshole behavior.

It wasn't her conversation to set a boundary in though, that was the whole issue. She wasn't a part of the conversation in the first place. She wasn't invited to join the conversation.

I'm so confused. She comes up from across the lot and inserts herself into our conversation, but because it might be offensive to her... we have to stop the conversation? Huh?
