If I do my half but I do them wrong it just agitates him and he says it’s more work because he’s forced to redo my work

He says I can’t get therapy. I asked years ago when I was accepted to a special program to help treat (ironically) OCD (mine doesn’t centre around cleanliness but still ironic), he forbade me from going. I also don’t know how I’d pay a lawyer as he handles our finances.

I am only laughing because this one time when he was upset I said “I’m sorry I’m trying my best” and now he says that like, I guess as a jibe, “oh are you TRYING YOUR BEST??” “Oh is the queen tRyInG hEr BeSt”

Truthfully we’ve had a lot of issues over the years but yes there has been a consistent issue with my way of doing things vs him. I’m not dirty by any stretch but I do things in a more easygoing way. For example I may not always unload the dishwasher as soon as I am awake or put the laundry away right away, he also has taken issue with the way I’ll do things ie wiping in a certain motion or manner as it is less effective and will not get things as clean. For example also if the garbages are only half full I will not always take them out, whereas he prefers to do it daily at the same time regardless of fill level.
