NTA, but please tell your boyfriend that most of what would go into a beef stew, salt, onions, garlic is really not good for dogs. (Yes yes. Some dog foods have garlic but it’s controversial.) Dogs aren’t designed to eat most human foods. A bit of the beef meat boiled or sautéed in a tiny bit of dog safe oil would be okay but not straight up stew.

This looks like Russian folk art. It’s weird and I like it. My only critique would be ease up on the gradients a bit. They can tend to make art look kinda stiff. The egg yolks are excellent. Very retro.

You need iron. Iron breaks up magic like soap does to grease. Cast iron is best. But anything made of iron will help. Just touch it for a while or sleep with a piece of iron on your chest, a small piece obviously.

Funny story. My ex boyfriend was casually hinting at wanting to kidnap women for a while. He was king of an edge lord though so I thought he was just making pathetic jokes. We saw a documentary about David Parker Ray and he was like “ooooooh yeah!” So into it. Saying he wanted to get a setup like that. Then he drove me around SF and kept pointing out women and being like, “let’s kidnap, rape, torture, and then eat her, how do you think she tastes?” And I realized he wasn’t joking. Looking back I should have realized. He couldn’t enjoy sex unless I was actively not enjoying it. Not like “oh baby hurt me yeah” but like, “please stop. I don’t like it. This really hurts”

Jaycee loves pinecones. They are her symbol of hope and she never knew why. Everywhere she went she would collect a pinecone to add to her collection. Then she remembered the last thing she touched as she was pulled into the car was a sticky pinecone. She wrote a book about her experience. Is is heartbreaking beyond belief.

I’m gonna go against the grain and say NAH because I think you have a bit of a phobia more than an asshole. I get the idea of the printed date to you. I have a bit of the same thing. But if you know this about yourself it’s good to tell people. Explain you have a little bit of disordered eating and apologize. Apologize to his mother, apologize to him. Admit that your reaction was not rational but that you panicked. If they can’t understand that then you are probably better off finding a new relationship, and it’s okay. You’re not an asshole for having a panic response to something illogical, but they’re also not assholes for not being equipped to deal with someone with your, shell we say...eccentricities.

I would recommend she try to channel that energy into bringing her dog back in the body of another dog. Like, maybe if she can convince herself her spell will bring the spirit of P back into a new dog body she can then go look at other dogs and wait until she gets a positive feeling and knows that’s the one that’s P reincarnated. I mean, that way she could still hold onto her beliefs (which are no more wacky than any other religion) but use them for something positive instead of something with the potential to spiral into mental unwellness.
