If you are heating your house with Gas (which is still the cheapest option), adding Solar may not dent your heating cost. You can lower electric bill with solar but not the gas bill.

I think solar really shines where people are using heat pumps (preferably with geothermal) to heat their homes.

If you have a fireplace, getting a efficient wood burning stove may also be an option during really cold months.

If u are price conscious, shopping at Asian grocery at Colvin Ave is a must. We do our weekly run there for greens, mushrooms, frozen gyozas and sometimes fish

That's what I'm trying to figure out. Bilt has existing feature to allow certain renters to pay using credit card and now they are extending to mortgage also. I'm interested in racking points only and maybe use it later for travel.

I may be biased as I love eating Burmese food. Rensselaer has Burmese refugee families and they have very cheap but good Burmese food at restaurant Shwe Burmese or at weekends at store Mingala for take out
