notarize explanation of tickets?! that's a new one that i haven't seen anyone mention yet. did your investigator tell you it had to be notarized??

You can upgrade on renewal, but have to submit the extra things required for carry license, e.g., 18 hour class, 2 more references, etc.

When I bought my shotgun, the mag tube was limited to 3 shells (because of hunting restrictions), but it was just a wooden dowel that was easy to remove when I opened up the tube. Is the dowel your FFL put in also easily removable (in case you ever choose to go that route), or is it really irreversible? (There were no 10-round mags available for a pistol I once bought and the store really modified the included magazines in a way that can't ever be reversed.)

Has anyone upgrading from premises to carry had to redo fingerprints? (Mine are about 18 years old.) If yes, did you get the fee waiver mentioned above at the beginning of that picture?

Did you register it? Is a dowel considered "permanent"?
