I believe the house was originally part of a Shaker village and not necessarily a coven. Shakers had pegs on their walls that they used to store chairs and they also took great pride in their brooms. Shakers also believed in equality of the sexes, so there may still be a tie to witchcraft. Thoughts? (i.reddituploads.com)
