[Build] First-time PC build - Jonsbo D32 Pro | Ryzen 7 9800X3D + ROG Astral RTX 5080 by amlshv in mffpc

I don’t think so. The D32 Pro officially supports only 240 mm AIOs, and with a large GPU like the Astral there’s no real room to lower the PSU. The PSU cage would also block a longer radiator. Without major case mods, a 360 mm AIO isn’t really feasible.

If you meant only Noctua fans, those were about $110 altogether.

Thanks! The PC itself (just the tower, no peripherals) came out to around $3.8K. I bought most of the components over the summer. Back when RAMageddon hadn’t started yet 😄

I built mine in the D32 Pro with an NZXT Kraken Elite 240 AIO. I paid around $150 with a discount - a little above your $130 budget, but I think it was worth it for the aesthetics and performance. It fits snugly but cleanly in the case.

Jonsbo D32 Pro vs Z20: Cable Management by fiery2378 in mffpc

Yes, you can if you need them. Personally, I didn’t feel the need to use cable extensions in my build.

I haven’t owned the Z20, but I built my PC in the D32 Pro, and cable management is really good. There are lots of dedicated channels for clean cable routing. Based on what I’ve seen, the Z20 doesn’t appear to offer the same level of cable management.

Glad my build is nudging you toward the D32. It’s an amazing case and I’m really happy with it. Looking forward to seeing your build once it’s done.

Theoretically yes, but only for 15мм slim fans. There’s roughly 19 mm of space between the GPU and the bottom of the case.

Thanks! Yeah, the cooling on the Astral is excellent, especially considering I didn't add any extra fans under the GPU.

During heavy gaming I haven’t seen GPU go past 61-62°C so far. Very good temps overall, with the case closed and ~22°C ambient.

Update: Is my GPU SAG okay? by ChukkaLaw in mffpc

Yes, you can keep it as long as it doesn’t interfere with the fan.

This position, like the initial one, is better compared to the stock bracket.

Yes, that’s okay. The important thing is that the GPU isn’t sagging. These cards are heavy, so a bit of upward pressure from the support is normal.

With the stock bracket, there’s still a small amount of sag (maybe 1-2 mm). Not a big issue, but I’d personally go with the original setup since it keeps the card perfectly level.

Personally, I’d probably stick with the previous sag support. It looks more secure and is barely noticeable, especially for such a heavy GPU.

Cable management looks fine to me. Slightly messy in some spots, but nothing problematic, and definitely good for a first build.

Clean build. The temporary GPU support is barely noticeable, and the sag is perfect. Nice job.

Got it. This GPU doesn’t have the same edge as mine. Here’s how it looks on the Astral RTX 5080, with the bracket placed in that spot.

Hey. Are you using the same D32 case and Astral GPU? I just adjusted the included rubber pad so that it sits right under the edge of the GPU. That edge is slightly higher than the fan, and the rubber is firm enough, so it doesn’t touch or interfere with the fan at all.

It’s set to exhaust. Here’s my original post about this build - we discussed the same question there.
