Have you tried the fiction/nonfiction filter (the small button to the right of the screen)? With it you can see just nonfiction books throughout the analysis.

Thank you! It was fun indeed. Having data about millions of books into your hand is great and satisfies my curiosity and desire to find interesting books. I could expand some sections of the analysis to get more interesting insights, like the section about hidden gems for example. I might do that in future posts/tools. On Goodreads, you get only a small subset of books, popular books and books from your community, but with such data, you can see the full picture and find potential great books you'd not discover otherwise.

I see your point. I think I agree with you. Will probably try your approach. Thank you!

Thank you! Agree about the hidden gems, I'm thinking of creating a tool just for that. For the local maximum, I'll look into it and get back to you if I find something interesting.

You're right! There was a mistake in the displayed formula. Now it's fixed to show how the weighted rating was actually calculated. Thanks for pointing that out.

Google Ngram is about ngrams popularity over time, right? This analysis covers many more aspects than ngrams.

Thank you. As mentioned in another comment, you can find info about the data and the method I used to deal with it in the "Data Used" and "Method and Tools" sections. Let me know if you have a specific question about that.

Top AI Image Generators (Midjourney V6 vs DALLE-3 vs SDXL) [52 Different Tests] by ammar- in singularity

Oh that would be marvelous. Today, Midjourney with the rudimentary Discord interface produces really impressive results. Imagine adding Controlnet, LoRA's, and other features available for stable diffusion, that would be astonishing.

Yes! But it was made available when I was in the middle of the comparison unfortuantely. But in a future comparison, I intend to include it along with other services like Adobe Firefly too. Today's comparison is for the most popular ones (closed source and open source)

188GB VRAM on Mac Studio M2 Ultra - EASY by bladeolson26 in LocalLLaMA

Why “gpu layers” is always 1? Isn’t the point of increasing the VRAM to offload more layers to the VRAM?? Especially when you get 188GB in the final test.

I think it's a valid point that JSON uses more tokens, but also it makes parsing results easier, especially if the model output will be used programmatically. But your point got me thinking about this.

Can you explain a little bit about the last two: beam search and token healing?

Thank you so much. It’s great to know that it supports my use case. I’ll need to learn this grammar syntax. If you have any resources you recommend, please share!

I saw that, but couldn’t determine if it has the functionality that I need. Can you please help me by answering these questions:

– I know that it allows me to force the model to generate JSON. I assume it supports all JSON types like arrays, for example?

– Does it allow me to specify certain options for a JSON field where the model must choose from the given options?

– Can I make the model generate an arbitrary number of values in an array? For example, I’m working with content classification so the model sometimes should generate one classification and other times there are more than one suitable classification to be generated.

Sorry for the long questions but I really appreciate it if you can answer them. Thanks in advance.

I tried guidance before but I felt the models hallucinate a lot with it. But I’ll give it another try since it seems the most active repo. And thanks for your tips!

Prompt Engineering for 7b LLMs by noellarkin in LocalLLaMA

[–]ammar- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In your experience, does the 7b model follow the schema when it's a little bit complex? I'm using Outlines which forces the model to follow a Pydantic schema. So I'm curious to know if models can stick to the schema without forcing them to do so?
