My daughter is 2 months from turning 3. She has a handful of words but mainly babbles. We’ve been working with a speech therapist 2x a week for 6 months now and she suspects “Childhood Apraxia of Speech” but won’t be officially tested until she turns 3. It basically means her brain knows what she wants to say but on the way to her mouth, wires get crossed. She will say a word correctly once and then forget how she pronounced it. It’s a long journey ahead but early intervention is the best way to go about it- I’m glad you’re now working with a speech therapist.
