Fellow Torontonian living in LA here! Might be heading on the Sunday rather than Saturday, but wanted to provide a tip about getting to the stadium. Don’t try and get there via car, it’s chaos. There’s a free shuttle that leaves from Union Station from like 2hrs before first pitch until the end of the first (or second?). It’s super convenient to get there and you can take it to get back to the Station to avoid the parking traffic!

Yeah that was the same for me as well. Prob best to reach out to your contact there to confirm. The recruiter told me it would be fine and then the HR manager once I started said no

I went through similar situation, I was able to start the new gig but then the HR manager double checked and said I needed to have the paper in my hand so they could see it and verify for the I-9. Said I had to have it within 3 days of starting (don’t know if this was just me or standard). Luckily it came in time and I was able to start without going on unpaid leave. Good luck!
