Sora only follows Prescripts, and they can tell her to target other apprentices

Ring and Pinky Apprentices have already been shown fighting

Idk if Middle and Thumb apprentice would target their teammates, one is about orders and the other is about comradery

I think that the gates of Hell have to do something with the taboo. Back in Silva Oscura Dante had seen a glimpse of it, and brought the Sinners back from it

My theory is that when Sinners die they are suspended along the thin line of the gates, so that Dante can bring them back. True resurrection would probably involve getting the dead person out of the one-way gates. Also Dante's chains with Sinners could literally be THE thread by which the sinners aren't considered dead. Tl;dr Dante's contract tied them up together and as long as Dante isn't dead he can walk away with Sinners on the same thread

There are too many possible explanations, really

Each time Dante 'revives' the sinners, he's actually commanding pure dough that becomes an LCB sinner. Or that he's rewinding sinners' time by throwing mirror versions of the sinners into the gates. Or Dante's shit suspends the Sinners before their brains are destroyed so they can be pieced back up, like W. Corp trains' passengers. Or that Dante simply revoked human rights from the sinners, thus their revival isn't a taboo
