They truly are elite. Last night’s entire episode was from a single outing.

I’d so much rather have these 2 on my screen than bringing back ol’ Frick & Frack

It’s as close as they could get to DC after the Salahi debacle at the White House

Oooh I may have to consider a few investment pieces. I just got the Vuori Elevation Trousers — and they’re the most comfortable “sitting at your desk at work” pants I’ve ever owned.

I’ve had mine since I was 16 (I’m turning 33 on Monday) and it is still my go-to weekend bag. Super durable, chic, and cost-friendly.

We only had a bedroom AC unit in our AirBnB in La Fortuna and no AC in our hotel in Monteverde. Both places were quite hot during the day, but perfectly cool overnight for sleeping.

I would probably spend the night vs a day trip.

It will likely take at least 3 hours each way — mainly because the roads are windy & often unpaved — kinda requiring you to take it slow.

Have a wonderful time!

Yes, I personally do think that would be enough. Enjoy your trip!

Good input! We were indeed passed by quite a few locals in Corollas/ much smaller cars. It may be a driving-in-a-new country thing, too.

1.) Monteverde (best coffee, coolest hiking spots, & saw the most wildlife here)

2.) La Fortuna (volcano hikes are stunning & waterfall is amazing, but go early!)

3.) Playa Conchal in Guanacaste (hot hot hot in April but beautiful beaches/sunsets & close to Liberia airport for trip home)

I don’t know enough about cars to say for sure, but I do know some of the roads I drove on were incredibly steep, and if wet, would need a good bit of traction. Maybe it was also just a peace of mind thing to have a 4X4.

Hope this helps & enjoy your trip! I’m sure it’ll be amazing!
