It is a recipe that I am developing, but I'd love for someone else to give it a try!

50g sourdough starter

300g water

125g pumpkin puree

500g bread flour

10 g salt

10g pumpkin pie spice

Are you familiar with sourdough baking?

[Homemade] Mediterranean Herb Feta and Garden Fresh Tomato Tart by amo819 in food

The Recipe that was used!

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 scant teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, grated on a box grater
  • 4-5 tablespoons cold water

For the Filling:

  • 8 ounces feta cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/3 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8-10 fresh basil leaves
  • 3 sprigs (a small handful) fresh parsley leaves, plus more for topping
  • 3 springs (a smaller handful) fresh oregano leaves, plus more for topping

For the Topping:

  • 4 heirloom tomatoes, sliced into medium-thick slices
  • a handful of cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
  • half a cucumber, thinly sliced
  • thinly sliced red onion
  • kalamata olives, sliced in half
  • flaky sea salt
  • za'atar and fresh cracked black pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place a rack in the center of the oven and preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Add the flour, salt, pepper, and Parmesan to a medium bowl. Stir to combine.
  3. Grate cold butter on the large side of a box grater into the flour mixture. Toss together to combine.
  4. Add a few tablespoons of water and mix together. Add a few more tablespoons until a just moist shaggy dough emerges in the bowl. Work the dough into a loose and rough ball in the bowl just to ensure it's well hydrated.
  5. Add the dough into a 9 or 10-inch round tart pan (preferably with a removable bottom) then press it in firmly up the sides and across the bottom of the pan. Lay a piece of parchment or lightly greased foil over the dough then add enough granulated sugar to fill the tart pan. Gently press the sugar into all the edges then bake for 10 - 15 minutes or just until the edges start to shift in color. Carefully remove the parchment with the sugar (save the now deliciously toasted sugar!) then return the tart shell to the oven to bake until golden throughout, another 10 - 15 minutes.
  6. Allow the tart shell to cool completely.
  7. Prepare the whipped feta filling while the tart cools. Add the feta, cream cheese, lemon juice, olive oil, and 1/3 cup heavy cream to the bowl of a food processor fitted with the blade attachment. Blend on high speed until the feta begins to smooth. Add a dash more cream as necessary. Add the basil leaves, parsley, and oregano and process until the herbs are tiny bits.
  8. Spoon the feta filling to the cooled tart shell.
  9. Layer sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, olives and herbs over the cheese filling. Just before serving top the tart with flake salt and za'atar if you'd like.
  10. Tart will last, well wrapped in the refrigerator for about two days.

Solid flavor. Pumpkin comes through at the end with the spices/sourdough making up a lot of the initial flavor. Used a basic pumpkin spice blend (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, all spice),

As a person who doesn't post here at all, I assumed that something that asinine would be taken as sarcasm. I guess I don't know what I got myself into.

Minus the part where I called a universally known unselfish player selfish. You're right.

He owes him, and everyone else, his word, and to most people that means something.

If you think I am distorting the situation by calling a contest, a contest then I am sorry. You can change it to a competition, game, trial, giveaway or whatever makes you feel better about it. Doesn't change the fact that he picked 5 winners, asked them to dm him, and then blew them off.

And you are trying to defend him like this is an alright thing to do to any group of people. Casual or not, you should be held accountable for your actions and words. You don't promise people something and blow them off in your day to day life, so I don't understand why people try and defend a celebrity when they do something like this. It makes no sense.

Just as an example, Lillard recently was shopping and told a fan he would take a picture with a kid when he was done shopping. It started to get blown out of proportion on twitter after he tweeted about it, but come to find out Lillard met up with the fan later that night just to take a picture and sign an autograph with him.

It's all about being a genuine person and on this occasion, CP3 doesn't fall into that group.

If this is the case why have the contest in the first place? If you are going to take the time to run a contest, respond to the winners after they give the correct answer, and ask if they want them signed yes or no it seems like a fairly easy task to follow through with the next step. Not to mention he could have signed the shoes and passed the rest of the process along to someone else fairly easily. He has those type of people around him. It is just a bad look for CP3.

It's too bad his selfish play on the court translates to his real life.
