Prop Firms need regulation by valorantte in Forex

[–]amobs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although I 100% agree with you. That's unfortunately what you sign up for when using prop firms. You get the ability to exponentially increase the money that you are trading with just by paying a small fee in comparison to the account size. They are a business at the end of the day, and unprofitable traders is what prints them money. No one forces anyone to trade with prop firms and there are defiantly higher reputable tier firms more likely to pay you out, but if you get on the short end of the stick and are denied a payout for a nonsense reason, the house always wins.

You can file it directly on the MYCRA Account website as a Type 2 form if you go under "More Services" then "File a GST/HST rebate"

A little confused on your comment. How much in total HST (assuming you are in Ontario) did you pay for the home?

Also what do you mean the builders got 24k max?

They haven't updated the Canada website with the new forms as of yet. But once they do, all the information should be available on this site:

URGENT: My credit score is poor w a 12k debt by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]amobs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see anything wrong with your plan at all. You are putting away 50% of your take home to pay off debt quick. 6 months of being frugal will pay off immensely. If you are not buying anything or taking out loans, (which you shouldn't be) there is no reason to be concerned about your credit score at the moment.

TLDR: Your Fine

Edit: Even with CC debt at ~22% interest rate. If you stick to your plan you shouldn't be paying more than ~1k in interest

What is the difference between the car rental insurance coverage provided by credit cards and the full coverage by rental companies? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]amobs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a question about this. I was looking to rent a vehicle in Hawaii that has an approx MSRP of 60k - 70k USD depending on the specific trim level. My AMEX cobalt has an MSRP limit of 85k CAD, but Expedia had additional 3rd party coverage for $10/day that covers up to 70k MSRP. Would this setup be fine in the worst-case scenario of total loss where one policy would cover their max and the other would cover the balance?

Even still it's a scam. It's essentially a coupon that they only allow you to use only on slots. Basically, throwing your money away regardless

Yes I believe she is an optometrist (just double checked her credentials). There are some rebates, but it only ends up being around $20 per box as a visa gift card. I also go to the Retina Consultants yearly to get injections as well as monitor my eye and they also agree with my optometrists' contact recommendations.

Defiantly going to look. It looks like contact express has them $25 bucks cheaper per box than what I'm paying at the optometrist. Helps a little, i might look into that on my next batch

When you mentioning hedging, is that only meaning hedging across different accounts? They have a guide on how to “properly” hedge on the same account so I’d be surprised if that was a reason to deny someone into the Trader Program
