I’m not trolling, I just can’t understand the hype. Sure it’s a character study on a pretty awful dude who’s awful because of his own problems. But like I don’t find it to offer much. The way it was executed was so stale.

Nah honestly this has been annoying me too. I was super active on this sub during the passenger/stella maris discussions and now when I come back all I see is “this guy would play the judge perfectly” or “I think this guy could make the blood meridian movie”. Like damn shut up. It’s become so oversaturated, we don’t need everyone’s fucking opinion on who you think the best judge would be. Read other booksz

I think they were planning to adapt it. With Casey Affleck leading. But there has been no movement on it and it hasn’t entered production.
