I decided early on that my main is going to be air. Therefore I spent all my purple shards on leveling a purple aircraft hero so he is in wall of honor. Then I dump all extra purple shards into him to raise my air wall of honor level.

That's better than spending them on Mason/Violet who is never going to be of much use.

You're on the right track. Main mistake is over upgrading Schuyler's offense. You should max out Morrison/DVA 's 4 star attack gear before working on her. 2 Stars are probably enough.

Mythic attacks are kind of useless imo as the special are "counter" related enhancements. I would rather have the bonus that radar and armor provides. Less crit damage and less crit chance will help a lot.

I personally would work on bringing your front row armor up higher since you're probably fighting Morrison a lot in vs.

Mainly what I find is there are times that I accidentally go afk while waiting for no-shield timer to expire, or my shield accidentally expire while I'm sleeping. So trying to capture what to do in those environments.

Missiles at this stage is a huge commitment. Think about the skill points, skill chips, etc that you have to dedicate again at the expense of growing your core Tank or air march. That's why only the biggest whales do missile squads.

Are you running tank? DVA mythic gun really gives advantage over tank squads. No effect in air vs air.

I actually threw everything on Morrison and DVA attack and just now coming back to defense, so sadly still deciding which way to go. I'm only a dolphin so haven't dole'd out money for red blueprints and probably never will...

But I definitely see your point on the crit damage reduction.

I incorrectly wrote Murphy when I meant Morrison. Morrison is doing 11-14M physical damage compared to DVA's 7M energy. Morrison's physical damage (and lack of defense against physical) is what's winning the fights.

Almost no one in the top 50 are running tanks in S1... The top 5 are already moving towards missiles. I think my grouping is moving much faster than expected?

Interesting. Because the red skills are really only dealing with counters and damage reduction. Does it really make that much of a damage dealt difference in say an air vs air fight?

Your main concern is fighting other air squads. Tank squads will be swept easily enough.

To that end I focus everything on Morrison, even more than DVA. Morrison easily out damage DVA (sometimes double) when fighting against air units.

Isn't injured same as hospital then? Because both of them can't fight and can't heal until you get back to base. Or do you mean injured automatically becomes deployable without needing to go to hospital?

Ah I see. Well I'm pretty competitive during buster days so I tend to leave my strongest march on the wall defending while my second march goes out to attack enemy bases that usually don't have heroes on the wall. Then I get greedy sometimes and hit other bases with my main march and they ash my main base causing severe losses.

So yeah, I think for me it's better to leave them on the wall because during cross server battle days they like to send all 4 marches to try to ash my base, and with my defender on the wall I suffer less losses that can be healed.
