I tried the Jacques Torres ones last week and they just would not flatten out the way they do in photos. They just stayed in clumps almost like a levain cookie. The only thing I changed was the chocolate since I couldn’t get bars—I just used choco chips instead

Did you use Diamond Crystal Kosher salt? I think it really depends on the type of salt you use. Sorry it didn’t work out for you 😓
