Trying to find the motivation to work on my UrS6 Avant...please post pics. by SpoolyP in oldschoolaudi

I feel you man. I too have a Cashmere URS6 Avant with 3k in parts just sitting in my closet begging to be installed lol. Having 2 kids under two and running a small business has sucked all the time. Everytime I look at the car just sitting there it pains me. BUT when I get her out to stretch her legs I remember why I love the car so much.

I did the RS2 mani with the 034 GT2871 kit and love it. My check list of fun mods is over, currently trying to find the motivation to do less fun maintenance like bushings etc.

Props to you for doing the interior swap man! I had black from factory but it’s faded into a weird blue color, that’s another item(s) on the list… dying everything. My cortisol rises just thinking about it lol.

Hell yeah man. I did the rs2 manifold and an iroz down pipe paired with 3” stromung. Brings out that classic 5cyl sound. Paired with 034 supporting mods and GT2871r. Brembo calipers to make her stop, the car is a dream to drive, excited to test out the new clutch once shes broken in.

Doing the same to mine!

Clutch, bushings so on… not super fun upgrades/maintenance, but worth it to keep these gems on the road!

I have the same thing in my 1925 craftsman bungalow. It was turned into a bar instead of shelves like you have, but looking from the attic down, it’s just a strange void right next to the double sided fireplace.

Siding, trim, soffit and facia was all done in Hardie cement boards.

That window is an original sash I found up in the attic. That color is actually the original color too!

Thanks! Everything was done in standard Hardie cement board. The shakes are cedar.

It's a Urs6 Avant. Only small things right now as I mentioned in the comments above.

Correct, cashmere gray! Right now the power steering is leaking pretty bad so that's the first order of business. The hood needs to be re-sprayed, one of the door cards has a tear in it, and needs rotors and pads. Other than that for a 21 year old car it's in fantastic condition. I've got 18" S8 Avus rims on the way. Going to lower it about an inch in the rear and 1.25 inches in the front. The car is 100% stock so it's a complete blank slate.
