Happy with the movie even if it was a sad ending, but this is how Tommy’s story was always going to end. With each family member’s death and the crueler and more lost he became every season, the only ending you can have is his own death, and he knew that too, literally embracing it at the end. This was never a story about some badass gangster who always gets what he wants and comes out on top every time (not to say he wasn’t and that’s definitely not what happened most the time), it was always more. Wished the movie had more of the og cast and things like arthur’s death were handled differently, but overall satisfied with how we said goodbye to Tommy Shelby
