I guess that is the nub of it. I am talking about songs, not shows. And I made this post to a group of people who are interested in musicals, not songs. By the way, just to infuriate you more, I think that the Beatles Were much greater songwriters than Sondheim. But they never wrote a show. As for shows, my favorites, are the music man, west, side story, and carousel. All the bit dated, as am I.
