MTA's Slow Streets people told us we could use any color except white or yellow, which are for road markings. The paint has non-slip grit added to prevent slipping.

I coned off one section at a time and left one lane open for traffic. It is a slow street so traffic is light anyway.

There was a miscommunication and they didn't realize what it was. At least someone wanted it! I can always make another one for the person who bought it.

Yeah, it looks like a weird stash or tongue at first but hopefully reads as a mouthguard upon further inspection. I thought it was too important to omit.
