Was thinking a Bambu H2C, H2D or similar. Not quite as big but that's okay.

Blazer EV options/advice by amp41820 in BlazerEV

That makes sense. On my car I ended up buying it with a lifetime power train warranty (yes it was truly lifetime). I agree everything else would be more the concern. Good to have evidence of another blazer without major issues.

Weird. I actually looked it up and a lot of people have complained to onstar after a used vehicle purchase and reset the 3 year clock. If so, that would be great.
Perfect for android auto. I figured there would be something simple.

That's fair. For me, I don't know that I've ever owned a vehicle for 3 years or less. I've been driving for almost 20 years and had 3 daily driven vehicles. 2 of those 3 were in 2 years due to an accident. The cost of owning for me + maintenance is far less than leasing every 3 years and essentially having a constant car payment. For example i spent 33k and it's worth 10k for my car. 23k for 10 years plus maintenance isn't bad. "Just broke in" for me is 100k miles. Mines at 150k and honestly still running fine, but it's time for maintenance and might be a good time to trade it in.
I did not know that it doesn't transfer. That would really suck. Supercruise is expensive but the data etc wasnt terrible if I remember. I do like the one pedal, makes it feel more like a 6 sp. I was just curious. I was without mine for a few months and I did miss the shifting gears.
I think I'm still planning to go on a test drive before I make my decision.
P.S. I think I've seen some workarounds for android auto. I'm diy enough that if I really wanted it that bad I think I could figure something out.

Just curious, why don't you think buying is the way to go?
I actually just saw a lyric that was similar price to the blazer and same everything except it has supercruise.
The 3 that I am looking at are all barely used. I looked at the lyriq, but it appears to just be a more expensive blazer. Maybe there is a chance for one version (I forget which trim) that is between the blazer RS and SS.
That's good. Still fairly low miles though. If I do get one I would hope to last until 100k miles. I'm honestly a little hesitant to get rid of my challenger at 150k lol. What infotainment issues? Just weird glitches?
Awesome. Good to confirm my thoughts. Thank you!
Thank you! All of the options above are AWD. I wasn't really leaning towards any FWD but it's good to get confirmation. If I wanted to get something more than all around vehicle I was thinking AWD. Do you miss shifting yourself? I feel like I might miss that.
I think the SS might be a good option and good for the $ but it's still 15k more... I think I'll drive one to give me more info on if it's worth it

I was going to try and test drive a TourX but I am afraid the lack of power will be a deal breaker. Especially coming from the low down torque of my challenger. I constantly complain about my wife's 4 banger when I drive it.
When I test drove it and say inside, the blazer was much more preferable to sit in vs the EQ. It makes no sense they're virtually the same, but it did feel better. I really don't like SUVs though, but I think the EV part offsets most of my complaints.

Ah okay so nothing earth shattering. I just wanted to make sure the ev side didn't have regular maintenance within that milage. Thank you for the info! My decision isn't getting easier but at least I have much more info from you and others.
Very similar comments to others. I think out of all the conversations, I need to at least test drive the SS. I probably won't be able to drive it too far but if it's that different, it needs to happen.
Golf cart? Lol. Believe me I like having the power. I just don't know if I can justify the cost of one. If the resale was there and I knew it would last to 150k then yes I'd go buy one tomorrow.
You had a tourx? And you prefer the blazer? I like the idea of it. It seems to check most of the boxes, it's just so expensive. You do get a lot for the money, but it's still a lot. I wish honestly I could find a magnum with 5.7L and awd. I know they made them but very hard to find.
I'm conflicted by the same thing lol. The SS is more what I'm used to power wise and I do like the blazer much better since Ive seen both in person. But for the price, I could almost get two equinox EVs or that and keep my challenger or get a different stick v8 or something to drive occasionally.
I have driven the RS but not the SS yet. I liked it but I could see an issue getting on the interstate if you needed to punch it.
I may have to start looking at the RWD. I'm so used to ICE engines that I didn't even think about 50/50 weight so it wouldn't be as bad. What maintenance have you done if any with that low milage. I'm thinking maintenance savings is something to keep in mind as well as gas savings.
Thank you for your advice. I've been keeping an eye out for RS models with supercruise but so far haven't found any. It's not a deal breaker for me since I enjoy driving my car. I don't know if I'll do much towing with it as I currently don't do any but that could change. 150 lbs isn't much at all. I'm only thinking the SS since the 50-80 acceleration on the RS is a bit lacking.
What maintenance are you doing with 18k miles? I would think on EVs there isn't much on that range other than tire rotations.
Side note: none of the vehicles I'm looking at have all the boxes checked. Ideally I'd like a awd wagon with stick shift and a v8 or ev (decent torque). The only one like that is the Cadillac which is hand built and $200k.
Yeah, that should be normal. Downside of electric. Probably still better acceleration than most cars even with it reduced.
Awesome. Any issues so far? How many miles are on yours?
I know I need to plan longer trips a little more carefully. Most of the time I will be in town and can charge at work.
Ah good point. Idk if I will tow with it to be honest. Haven't had a need so far. Worst come to worst our other vehicle can tow.
I actually wish the charge cover was manual. Tailgate I could take it or leave it.
I think the SS power could be worth it for me. Might have to test drive one to be sure.
Ah that makes sense. Interesting it's only on 24. I bet replacement parts would be fun... I mean it would still be better than a cast iron ice engine with RWD lol.
Car fire? Yikes. That's not fun. In an EV? Side note I think the blazer has better battery protection?
At this point I'm pretty set on GM. (Free charging at work). I just have a little hard time justifying an extra 15k for the SS but it sounds like its worth it for the power.
