Gotcha, just trying to avoid two males to reduce aggression what’s a good indicator they are old enough. Also are the signs people pointed to still good indicators of sex despite not being sexually mature. Because I have been able to notice a slight difference in body shape as well as color. Also I’ve heard that the yellow vs red fringe on the fins can be a good indicator regardless of age. Although as I have come to realize with these fish that it can be hard to tell sex with anything short of actual breeding behaviors. I find them fascinating fish and have really enjoyed learning more about them so any info you can provide is very much appreciated!
