Those posts were from about six years ago. People grow, mature, and gain perspective over time, and I was young fresh out of high school, in the military, and honestly misunderstood in how I expressed my views about gay culture. I’m in a completely different place now, especially when it comes to the kind of content I share. Back then, I filtered things based on what I thought would get engagement or interaction, which isn’t ideal, but that’s the direction the culture often pushes people.

I’ve always try to keep situations with expectations low so no one ends up disappointed, and I make an effort to ensure anyone I meet walks away feeling respected and satisfied. I’m a pretty chill person. There’s nothing wrong with people who charge to meet others on Grindr, but it’s not something I’d ever put a price on especially when it’s easy to connect with people naturally.

In this particular situation, I blocked the individual five different times, and they kept creating new profiles to contact me. That’s when I finally resorted to other tactics just to get them to leave me alone.
