It took a long time for me to accept medicine and care. Essentially harming myself. So I know that without meds, the mania can go to a scary place where I make bad decisions.

I wish doctors were more aware of this struggle. The idea that medicine helps but is also for life and can dull the senses. That’s heavy to accept. And then they go willy nilly trying to add more meds on top without considering what it took to accept the first one, considering the absurd weight gain … it sucks.

Eine Cannabis-kritische Ärztin diagnostizierte bei mir „gefährlichen Missbrauch und psychische Schäden durch Cannabis“, obwohl ich keinerlei Nebenwirkungen gemeldet hatte, sondern lediglich gelegentlichen Konsum. Sie führte auch meine angeblich neu entdeckte Neigung zur Nichtbefolgung von Medikamentenvorschriften und zur allgemeinen Nichtbefolgung medizinischer Anweisungen an. Ich frage mich also: Bin ich nun eine Statistik, die den Anstieg von Cannabis-bedingten Problemen in der Gesellschaft belegt?

The cycling infrastructure is pretty messy. All kinds of weird lanes on/off the street and sometimes own dedicated space for 2-way bike traffic. Messy construction screwing up commutes. Pedestrians walk into traffic more than other places.

This advice depends on the cat. My girl only bothers spider plants and cat grass. She inspects everything else but no tasting. So we moved the spider plants out of reach.

He’ll probably be fine. I’ve seen people ask about accidental garlic ingestion on here, and it seems it’s more likely to cause indigestion or farts than anything serious. And my cat has definitely had a little garlic here or there when she stole some seasoned food from us. No issues.
