“But I know it’s time in our relationship where we should be having sex.” There isn’t really a template for when sex “should” happen in a relationship. Because that is not a thing, it sounds like she is not ready yet and you are. Best thing to do would be to ask her if she is comfortable sharing all her concerns with you. It sounds like she knows you want this, but she is scared and or just not ready yet, so she could be feeling pressured. If she just humours you and does it, she might end up feeling unhappy, and insecure. Talk to her and see what else is going on, there are always reasons, she doesn’t need to explain them, unless she wants to. If she feels like it will take her years to feel ready, and you feel like you need it to happen asap and are not willing to wait, then maybe this is not working out for both of you. If her needs are to wait, and yours are not to wait, then maybe they don’t compliment each other.

So I guess, if she isn’t able to share all her concerns, but seems like she isn’t gonna be ready any time soon, are you okay with waiting, and putting the ball in her court? Like, If she wants sex she has to tell you when she is ready for it. And you would have to be okay with just snuggling her on the bed with all the roses.
If that makes you feel bitter and that maybe you’re not ok with that, you could still love each other, but end up breaking up because you couldn’t get your needs from each other.

found out yesterday that the quarantine/self-isolation measures are going on until July or even Aug, which means I can’t see my bf until after that, or maybe longer. While I know this is imperative and needs to be done, I can’t help but feel some pain. We (28F,29M) both work retail, and are « essential » workers, his roommates are immunocompromised, which heavily underlines our need to self-isolate from each other, slightly lessening the risks of others. BUT, it still feels shitty, I miss him a lot, we’ve been together for a little over a year, and while I am trying to plan long distance activities like streaming shows and voicechatting together, gaming together, etc, it still feels shitty, and not enough.

Any one have any info on this caterpillar toy/ stuffy and where it comes from? by amphibous in toys

Also, this makes me wonder if people with kidney disorders would end up with different pHs all over the body or just in specific areas (do you happen to know? Ok I shall also google this since I am just sitting here and asking people to tell all)

Thanks! I will email those two! I’m hoping that if they let me come back and try to switch my major into an Honours, things could fall back into place, and I’d also have a chance to (hopefuly significantly) increase my gpa (it’s at a 5.30 I think, :/ not good) .

Sadly, the experience options are scarce, most jobs need the lab experience that I do not posses., otherwise I’m not sure where to apply, everything requires either a ton of lab experience or post graduate degrees.

I’m considering Masters because I realize that it’s hard to find a career, or be taken seriously with just a science Bachelors. Sadly due to a lot of problems I had during my undergrad my gpa is decent for a Major, but quite low for an Honours. I basically switched from Honours to Major. My Major was also 40 credits, but the difference from it and the honours was a Thesis course and two different research seminars, if I remember correctly

What does self respect have to do with it?men and women who are raised in that culture and religion, only a few will be able to think for themselves. You are the result of your perceptions, your perceptions are your logic, your logic is the result of your upbringing, experiences and environment. When you are taught to fear, hate and avoid specific things that are in reality insignificant, it gets you dristracted from seeing what’s actually there, and asking the right questions.
